Good Morning West Harrison,
With the pending dangerous wind chills forecast for Thursday, we are going to modify our schedule for this week. We will not have an early out on Wednesday. On Wednesday school will be dismissed at 3:30 There will be no school on Thursday, December 22nd due to the dangerous wind chills. We wanted to get these changes to you as early as possible so that you can plan accordingly.
High School semester tests will now take place on Tuesday and Wednesday with odd period tests on Tuesday and even period tests on Wednesday. Elementary parties will be held on Wednesday.

There will be a makeup game with Whiting on Tuesday, December 20th for JH Boys Basketball at 4pm in Mondamin. This will be one game due to Whiting numbers.

Santa is coming to West Harrison!! Join the Junior Class as we welcome Santa to our school and enjoy breakfast with him.
Santa will be in the commons from 9-12 this Saturday (December 10). Breakfast is provided by the Junior Class and is free will donation; all funds raised go to West Harrison Prom 2023.
Parents can also do some Christmas shopping at the Book Fair in the Elementary Library, open from 9-12.
There will be no Little Hawks Wrestling practices tonight, 12/15/22.
There is no JV boys basketball game with ISD tonight, 12-15. There is no HS boys Basketball practice after school today.
Junior High Boys and High School Girls will practice after school today.
There will be no Junior High Boys Basketball game in Mondamin tonight, 12-15 vs EEHK.
The WH Booster Club will be selling on hand apparel, stocking hats, hats, and yard signs this week at the home basketball games on Tuesday Dec. 13 and Friday Dec. 16th. If you need any last minute Christmas gifts, these items would be great!!
The game times at Western Christian tonight will be changed due to the weather forecast in their area. There will be No Freshman game. The JV team will start at 4pm and the Varsity team will play around 5:30pm. Thanks for understanding!
2022 Winter Concert Schedule:
The Elementary Students will have their Winter Concert on December 19th for K-6th Grade at 7pm.
The 7th-12th Grade Students will have their Winter Concert @ West Monona on December 21st at 7pm. (This has been changed from December 20th due to scheduling conflicts)
Thanks for the support of the Book Fair so far! Remaining days & times are Dec. 9 until 4:30, Sat morning from 9:00 - noon, and Monday until 4:30 pm.
There will be NO JV boys game tonight in Paton Churdan due to PC not having enough healthy players. We will be having one Girls Varsity game in PC tonight starting at 5pm.

The Junior High Boys Basketball game on Monday, December 12th has been changed to Tuesday, December 13th and this will be a 3:30 pm start instead of 4pm. This is due to a gym conflict for Siouxland Christian.
Due to weather West Harrison will have a 2 hour late start tomorrow December 9, 2022.
West Harrison CSD will be dismissing at 1:30 today, Thursday December 8th due to the weather.
