Junior High Fall Athletics 2023 / High School Athletics Reminder 2023 JH Student-Athletes be sure to have your physicals completed before your first practice listed below. It would be a good idea to start conditioning for your sport to come into it in shape. A little running / light weight training each day or every other day can go a long way! We hope to see you out this year to help our Athletics thrive! Go Hawkeyes Junior High Football (First Practice August 23rd) Junior High Volleyball and Cross Country (First Practice August 24th) **High School Athletes get your new physicals for this year turned in ASAP! JH/HS students there is a new form for this year for physicals, please get the new ones on our webpage or in the HS office counter. These are required for the 2023/24 school year and must include the doctors signature on the back page. The other forms needed and also attached to the physical forms are medical form, concussion form, and insurance form. All 4 need to be completed and turned in before your previous one expires to be eligible to participate in any practices or games.

We would like to remind all families that the 2023-2024 School Year Registration is open. With school beginning soon, we would ask that you please get your student(s) registered as soon as possible. We also now have this year's fees and activity passes set up in your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Please click the link below to see information regarding the fees and how you can pay for them. This year we are encouraging families to pay for their fees and activity passes online. High school football camp will be July 31 -August 4th from 4-7 PM High school practice will officially start August 7th - 11th from 4-8 PM. If you do not have your physicals done yet please schedule them as soon as possible. There are new forms this year and you can get them in the HS office!

Family Week The Iowa Department of Education has designated July 23-30 as, "Family Week." In short, no students should be using any school facilities and coaches should have no contact of any kind (meetings, workouts, fundraising, outside camps, fundraising, etc.) with students. West Harrison thanks our basketball coaches and the players who stepped up to help for running our 2023 WH Youth Basketball Camp. Thanks to Kathy and Maclayn for handling registration and pictures!
