The West Harrison Golf Outing has been scheduled for June 28th, 2025! We had a great time last year and hope to have a full slate of teams for this years outing. The HS Boys Track Meet in Woodbine tonight has been postponed to Thursday , May 1. This will now be ran as a COED Meet with the Girls HS Invite in Woodbine on Thursday.
(The HS Boys will be running at Griswold on Thursday and won't be attending Woodbine with the HS Girls Team)

The Junior High Track Meet in Onawa today has been postponed. There will be NO Junior High Track practice tonight.
The High School Track Meet in Sidney today has been cancelled. Practice will be at 3:45 today.

The 5th and 6th graders took a field trip to the Aronia Berry Farm for Earth Day. At the farm they learned the history of kites and got to make their own kite. They also learned about soil, while digging up the soil and looking at their findings. They also became part of a food web. The students took a hike in the Loess Hills looking for and collecting different insects in their net. They were able to be part of a frog jumping contest, while learning about different types of frogs and toads. The students also learned about three different raptors (birds) and got to see and hear them up close. The students had a fun time enjoying the outdoors while making new discoveries!
Little Hawks Childcare Program—Enrollment Openings
We are pleased to announce that Little Hawks will have four openings available for both the upcoming summer session and the 2025–2026 school year.
Program Hours:
Summer: 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM (I will need to be closed a short time for the custodians to clean and do updates to my room and will notify you of those dates.)
School Year:
Before School: 6:00 AM – 7:45 AM
After School: 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Please note that a fee is required for participation in the program. Enrollment is open to school-age children from Pre-K through age 12. All children must be fully potty trained in order to attend. Additionally, all necessary enrollment paperwork must be completed prior to your child’s start date.

HAWKEYE PRIDE
Our PK-8th grade students are selling Tiefenthaler Brats!! The fundraiser began on April 14th and will end on April 28th. The brats will be ready for pickup on Wednesday, May 7th between 1:30-4:00 in the west gym. This fundraiser will help support events like....PBIS, guest events for the students, kindness week, healthy living week, field trips, and other extra programs and activities for our students.
