West Harrison's Student Council invites you to attend our Coronation Pep Rally on Sunday, September 10th following the jersey auction. (The jersey auction starts at 6:30 pm.) The Junior Class Post Prom Committee will be providing a meal at 5:00 pm as well.

Junior High Football will hold practice tomorrow, Wednesday September 6th after school until 5pm. This will allow them 10 practices before playing their first game on Monday, which is recommended by the state. Thanks for understanding!

The cheerleaders are doing a blanket auction at the home football games with the winners being announced on Sept 29th. Bids start at $10. They are also selling drink koozies for $3 at the home football and basketball games until they are gone. Thank you for your support!!
7-12 Athletics/Activities Fundraiser:

Our 7-12 grade students involved in athletics and activities are helping us with a discount card fundraiser to support our athletics and activities department. They will be bringing these discount cards home with them today to sell until September 12. We ask that you help them keep track of unsold cards to return when we finish the fundraiser. These cards have about $250 of discounts offered at different businesses in the area for the price of $25 per card.

Mark your calendars! West Harrison Student Council brings you this year's Homecoming: Dancing Through the Decades! The parade will be held on September 15 at 1:30. Line-up will begin at 1:10 on Main St. by City Hall. Please contact the school or Ms. Haag directly (see flyer) with any questions. We hope to see you there to support our Hawkeyes as they battle for a Homecoming win!
Today the CORE students investigated the 16 career clusters by adding researched information behind a "door". Students will describe their cluster to the class and then the doors will be displayed.
Reminder Friday Sept. 1st is a 2:30 dismissal and No School Monday Sept. 4th

The Rolling Valley Conference is switching to Bound ticketing for High School Varsity events this year. Schools in the conference (as well as many non conference schools) are switching to cashless gates. You will need to buy your tickets on bound to enter RVC games. You may also use a card to purchase tickets at the gate but it will be much quicker to enter if you have the tickets pre bought. Tickets can be found here for all of our events at West Harrison.

There is a link on our ticket site to purchase yearly passes for the 23/24 school year. This is not set up as LIVE for our school district at this time. If you need a set up a yearly pass contact our High School office at 712-646-2231.
Concessions:
As of now we do not have a card option for our concession stands. These stands will remain cash only at this time for West Harrison Events while we work on an option for our fans for future events.
Please be aware of our Football Field Concessions stand addition work. While this is under construction we will hold our Football game concessions at the baseball complex concession stand West of the baseball field or south of the football field/track.

West Harrison would like to give a huge Thank You to Performance Ag of Missouri Valley for their generous donation to our Athletic Department!! Your support of our school and students is greatly appreciated!!
All juniors and seniors and their parents are invited to the Mondamin Fire and Rescue Open House. It will start at 6:00 pm on Monday, August 28th at the Mondamin Fire Hall. This is for those who have joined Jr. EMS and those who may be interested and need more information. There will be tours and information handed out about the program which is in its 19th year. There will also be pizza and drinks.
Due to some construction completion to our concession stand addition we will have our concessions for tonight's Football Game with East Mills over at the Baseball / Softball Concession Stand. Thanks for understanding as this project nears completion.
Also just a reminder we have moved to cashless ticket taking at the game tonight. The Rolling Valley Conference has went to this option for future RVC games. We will implement it in all of our Varsity admission events. Thanks for understanding this change as well as we know it is a transition for many but we will make it as easy as possible for you.
