The HS Track Team will have the "Gregg Beam Hawkeye Invitational" in Mondamin tonight. We will recognize our Track Teams and Parents at this event. Parents of our Track Athletes can come in for free. Senior Parents please meet your child at the north end of the track following the 4 x 800 relay around 6pm.

After finishing their knowledge unit on the four seasons and weather, Miss Brock's kindergarten students created a Breeze Buddy to help them observe the wind. They enjoyed decorating them and loved testing them outside on a windy April day.

The West Monona High School Track Meet scheduled for tonight has been cancelled.

Hawkeye Athletics/Activities Fundraiser:
West Harrison Students are currently selling Teifenhaler Brats for our major Spring fundraiser. There are many flavors of brats as well as beef and sausage patties. This fundraiser closes on Friday, April 12th and both offices in the school can take orders if you would like to place one. Thanks for your support to our Athletics and Activities!

Prom is right around the corner!! Here is what we have coming up for Prom attendees and family members.
Gentleman's Choice will be here with tuxes on Thursday at 3:00 pm. Please meet in the commons to try on your tux. If you cannot be there, please let Ms. Haag or Lisa Solberg so we can get something arranged.
Saturday Schedule: Kasey Curry Photography will be set up and ready at 4:45 for pictures. You can come in between 4:45 and 5:30 for photos. ALL JUNIOR prom attendees need to be at the school at 5:30 for a class picture. SENIOR prom attendees will have a class picture at 5:50. Family is welcome to arrive any time after 4:45 to take pictures and find a seat for Grand March.
Grand March will start at 6:30 pm with dinner to follow. After dinner, we will return to the gym for the dance until 10:30 when you will be released to change for Post Prom.
The West Harrison K-8 Spring Concert will be Monday, April 15 at 7:00 p.m. in the High School (new) gym. The kids need to be there at 6:45.
Some of our elementary students got to go out this afternoon with glasses on to experience the solar eclipse!!
